The Goethe Institute in Hanoi will host an international conference on Vietnamese archaeology from Feb. 29 to March 2.
The Goethe Institute in Hanoi will host an international conference on Vietnamese archaeology from Feb. 29 to March 2.

Jointly organised by the German partner, the Ministry of Culture,Sports and Tourism, the Cultural Heritage Department and the NationalHistoric Museums , the conference will attract many overseas anddomestic archaeologists and scientists. A series of lectures onVietnam ’s history and archaeology will also take place, airing anumber of different points of view.

The conferencewill focus on Vietnam’s rich culture, ranging from the Dong Son culturein the north, the Sa Huynh culture in the central region and the Oc Eoculture in the south as well as updates on research currently beingcarried out on Thang Long Citadel and Dai Viet State. - VNA
