Children from Russia, Japan and Vietnam performed at an international children’s art festival in Hanoi on March 24.
Addressing the festival themed “Children of the sun”, Vice President of the Hanoi Chapter of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations Vu Thi Hai said this is an opportunity for Vietnamese and international children to meet and learn more about the three countries’ culture through songs and dances.
For his part, Director of the Russian Culture and Science Centre in Hanoi Alekxei Lavrenhiov said the art performance is a festival of peace and friendship.
The festival was jointly held by the Hanoi Chapter of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations and the Russian Culture and Science Centre in Hanoi to mark the 81st anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the 71st founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Brigade.-VNA
