local and foreign businesses.
The four-day event features hundreds of construction related products divided into various groups such as construction and building, building materials, technology equipment, technology, mining, security, environment in construction and building and services.
Addressing the opening, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh hailed the participation of Vietnamese and international businesses in the construction sector.
This is an opportunity for both organisers and businesses to introduce their capacity and products, while providing visitors with updates on latest construction technology, he said.
As part of the event, two international seminars on construction technologies and its application are held.
The expo was first held in Vietnam in 2012.-VNA
