Hanoi leader visits soldiers injured in helicopter crash

On July 7, the Russian-made MI-171helicopter with 21 people on board on a parachute training mission lostcontact and came down in Hoa Lac village, Binh Yen commune, Hanoi’sThach That district at 7:46 am, only 16 minutes after it took off fromHoa Lac Airport.

The accident has so far claimed the lives of 18 people, two of whom died at the institute.

Thao said he hopes the injured will overcome the pain to get wellsoon. He also expressed his sympathies for the families and units ofdeceased officers.

He asked relevant agencies tocare for the deceased’s families and the institute to provide the besttreatment for the injured.-VNA
