Hanoi plans 300 extra bus journeys on National Day
The Hanoi Bus Station Company plans to put an additional 300 bus journeys into service during the National Day (September 2) holiday to meet the rising travel demand.
The Hanoi Bus Station Company plans to put an additional 300 bus journeys into service during the National Day (September 2) holiday to meet the rising travel demand.
As the National Day this year falls on a Sunday, the public will have an extra day off the following Monday and the number of passengers travelling out of Hanoi are expected to surge on the afternoon of August 31 and the morning of September 1.
The company plans to add 115 journeys from Giap Bat Station, 45 from Gia Lam Station and 140 from My Dinh Station.
The additional services will focus on the routes of less than 300 kilometres such as those from Hanoi to Hai Phong city, Nam Dinh and Thai Binh provinces.-VNA
