Many shops, restaurants, cafes, and barbershops in Hanoi clean up early to comply with the requirements of the City People's Committee on prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic.

Previously, the Hanoi People's Committee issued an urgent dispatch ordering all restaurants and foodservice establishments to suspend their operation. They can only sell take-out meals and drinks. Parties and any gathering of people are not allowed. Haircutting service, sports, and fitness activities will be suspended from 12 pm on May 25.

As noted by Vietnam Plus reporters, at about 11 a.m., most of the restaurants, coffee shops, and barbershops in the area stop their operation in accordance with regulations.

On Pham Su Manh and Nguyen Khac Can streets, restaurants also close their doors early.

This is an area with a new outbreak at 2 A Pham Su Manh with many infections, so the authority of the ward has asked all shops in their area to close in the previous days to ensure safety.

In other streets of Hai Ba Trung and Dong Da districts, restaurants as well as barbershops also clean and close their shop. Some shops selling clothes and groceries also put on notices of suspending operation. Just some cafes are still open, trying to sell their last drinks to customers.
