With more than 300 stands, the exhibition, the 16 th of its kind, will have on display a wide range of oriental and patent medicines, vaccines, supplementary foodstuffs and medical equipment manufactured by companies from France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, the US, India, the Republic of Korea, China, Taiwan and Malaysia.
The President of the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Companies Association (VNPCA) Do Van Doanh told the press on Nov. 25 that the event is an integral part of the national key trade promotions programme.
The 2009 Vietnam Medi- P harm Expo will enable local and foreign businesses to find out more about advanced Vietnamese and international pharmaceutical services and products, as well as seek out business opportunities and new partners, he added.
A spokesperson for the Expo’s organising board said that more than 100 memoranda of understanding and cooperation contracts were signed between Vietnamese and international enterprises during the previous Vietnam Medi-pharm Expo./.
