The Canadian Food Festival will take place during the whole of July in Hanoi to celebrate the country’s National Day (July 1, 1867-July 1, 2012).
The festival will kick off in Hai Cang restaurant on June 30 and be held from July 1-31 at many restaurants in Hanoi , including Don’s Tay Ho, Asahi Sushi , Nam Phuong, San Ho, Dep, Thien Phuc Quan and in the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake Hotel.
During the festival, connoisseurs in Vietnam will have chance to sample Canadian dishes which are made from beef, lobster, oyster, scallop and other specialties.
The Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam , Deborah Chatsis, said that she hopes Vietnamese organisations and consumers will see Canada as a leading food supplier.-VNA
