Hanoi will shut off half of the city’s
street lamps between April and June to conserve power heading into
the summer months of peak consumption, the Hanoi Power Co announced on
April 3.

Billboard owners and operators will also be required to reduce power consumption and turn off power after 10pm, the company said. Major power users would also be required to adjust production schedules to reduce demand duding peak hours.
