The Hanoi Radio-Television Station (HTV) started on Oct. 16 a project to install a 250m high antenna tower in Me Tri commune, Tu Liem outskirts district, Hanoi.
The tower, the highest so far in northern Vietnam, will have state-of-the-art facilities to help the HTV and also the Vietnam Television (VTV) and the Vietnam Radio (VOV) to expand their channels’ coverage in the whole northern region.
Besides the tower, a five-storey broadcasting centre and other technical infrastructure will be built as part of the HTV’s project to build its second branch on an area of 8.2ha./.
