annual programme on January 25.
Co-hosted by the municipal chapters of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Youth Union, the event received warm response from philanthropists and members of the Hanoi Association of Young Entrepreneurs.
Also on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year, the municipal Association of Students donated candies, blankets, jackets and clothes to the Hanoi Centre for Social Sponsorship No.1 in the outlying district of Dong Anh.
In addition, 40 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND (14 USD) were presented to the elderly and the homeless who are being cared for in the centre.
The association also visited and extended New Year wishes to foreign students living in Vietnam.-VNA
