Hanoi (VNA) – The total revenue calculated in Hanoi’s budget was 379 trillion VND (15.3 billion USD) from January – September, a year-on-year increase of 23.1%, the Hanoi Statistics Office said on October 3.
Of the sum, 355.4 trillion VND came from domestic revenue, or 93.9% of the projection and up 23.6% against the same time last year. Meanwhile, collection from crude oil was 3.2 trillion VND, exceeding the plan by 5% and up 3.8% year-on-year, and that from trade activities stood at 19.6 trillion VND, fulfilling 72.7% of projection and up 14.3% year-on-year.
According to the office, budget spending during the nine-month span amounted to 70.5 trillion VND, making up 48.1% of the projection and rising 20.2% from the same period last year, with 31.9 trillion VND for development investment.
As much as 38.5 trillion VND was allocated for regular spending, or 67.3% of the projection and expanding 15.1 % year-on-year, including 14.2 trillion VND for education and vocational training, 6.6 trillion VND for state administration management, and 5.9 trillion VND for economic activities./.
