HCM City (VNA) -
The Consular Club in HCM City held its 25th annual International Charity Bazaar on November 3 at Adora Center in Tan Binh district.

The bazaar offered handicrafts, delicious food and other items from all around the world.

Visitors joined a raffle draw offering valuable prices like vouchers for deluxe resorts and hotels around Vietnam, spa packages, and lunch or dinner vouchers at luxury restaurants in HCM City.

All proceeds from the event were distributed to help those less fortunate in the community.

In 2017, the bazaar raised 70,000 USD for 12 charity projects, including scholarships for children and teenagers, free ROP surgery for blindness in premature babies, and water filtration for shelters.

The Consular Club, which includes representatives from consulates in HCM City, was founded in 1994 and is a non-profit organisation that aims to improve the quality of life of disadvantaged people in southern Vietnam.-VNA
