Denmark will continue its efforts to strengthen education cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City in a bid to generate a high-calibre workforce and meet the demand of domestic and international enterprises.

Speaking at the reception on March 6 for a delegation from the Danish Ministry of Education and Training, led by Minister Christine Antorini, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan underlined that the sector lays the foundation for a long-term relationship between Vietnam and Denmark.

Meanwhile, the guest Minister highlighted Denmark’s high-quality education system, saying that education provides highly-competitive human resources for the country’s labour market.

She expressed her hope that cooperation between the two countries’ universities will be promoted to enhance the skills and capabilities of Vietnamese students during the integration process.

During the visit, the Danish Minister also attended talks at local universities and colleges.-VNA
