Pharmaceutical Exhibition (Vietnam Medi-Pharm Expo 2013) got underway in
Ho Chi Minh City on August 22, showcasing latest medical services
and products.

The annual event welcomed the participation of 350 businesses from 20 countries and territories worldwide such as the US, Germany, Russia, Japan and China.
On display at nearly 400 pavilions are medical and laboratory equipment, pharmaceutical machinery and products, hospital equipment, and ophthalmological and dental products.
Within the framework of the event, there will be symposiums on state-of-the-art products and technologies as well as medical equipment.
The three-day event offers chances for participants to share experience, seek partners and access scientific achievements in this field, said the organisation board.
Torsten Wagner, head of the German delegation to the event, voiced his hope that Germany ’s high-tech products introduced at the exhibition will be applied by hospitals in Vietnam.
The event is co-hosted by the Health Ministry and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.-VNA
