The supermarket chains participating in the campaign, which was launched by the Ho Chi Minh Ciy Department of Natural Resources and Environment on March 26, include Co.opmart, Big C and Lotte.
The supermarkets also encourage their customers to reuse shopping bags and will offer promotion programmes during the days.
The department said the fifth Waste Recycling Day will be held on April 15 with the aim to publicise the 3Rs in waste management: reduce-reuse-recycle.-VNA
