HCM City leader offers greetings on Lao National Day
Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Phan Van Mai extended greetings on the 47th National Day of Laos (December 2), while visiting the Lao Consulate General on November 30.

He added HCM City will push ahead with activities to intensify connections with Lao localities, thereby helping strengthen the two countries’ special friendship.
Appreciating the sentiment and attention from HCM City’s Party organisation, administration, and people, Lao Consul General Phimpha Keomixay thanked local authorities for providing the best possible conditions for the Lao community to live and work in the city.
She affirmed that her office will coordinate with HCM City to further step up diplomatic activities, cooperation, and exchanges with Vietnam, including the southern metropolis, in all fields so as to help nurture the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries./.
