More than 100 information technology (IT) products, developed by the University of Information Technology of Vietnam and Soongsil University from the Republic of Korea, are featuring at an exhibition that opened in Ho Chi Minh City on Feb. 20.

Most worthy of note among the showcased products is the SigmaK3 8-byte microchip and related products designed by the Integrated Circuit Design Research and Education Centre.

The world’s latest achievements in the fields of IT, electronics, communications and networking have been also on show to visitors during the event.

The event is part of a cooperation agreement between the two universities, which covers high-quality human resources training, IT product development and student exchanges.

During the course of the exhibition, leading IT experts from Vietnam and the RoK will share information regarding the development of high-quality human resources amidst the process of globalisation.

The exhibition also serves as a forum for IT students from Vietnam and the RoK to exchange information, textbooks and study experiences./.
