Invested by Sado Group, the 500 billion VND (23.8 million USD) factory is designed to have an annual capacity of 18 million cubic metres of glass every year. Its products include tempered glass, laminated glass and insulated glass in jumbo size.
With capital borrowed from the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, the investor plans to inject 700 billion VND into the factory in the second phase and 800 billion VND in the third phase.
Addressing the ceremony, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan said such a factory will help the country’s glass industry to further develop and integrate deeper into the world.-VNA
