Ho Chi Minh City police expose drug gang
Police in Binh Thanh district in Ho Chi Minh City has caught a
30-year-old man in the act of illegally transporting 7.1 kg of drug,
including 20,000 pills of ecstasy, said Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen

The man, Pham Van Hoang from northern Thai Binh province, was caught at the Mien Dong Bus Station when bringing the drugs from the northern city of Hai Phong to HCM City on June 9.
He confessed to the police that a woman named Loan hired him to transport the illegal drug.
The woman, 48-year-old Hoang Thi Loan, was captured when she landed in Tan Son Nhat airport later the same day. A search of her home in Hai Phong on the night of June 9 exposed more drug.
Further investigation of the case is under way.-VNA
