- The 2018 International U21 Football Tournament run by Thanh Nien (Young People) newspaper will be held in the former imperial city of Hue next month.

It will be the second time the competition has been held in the ancient city. Early this month, Hue also hosted the National U21 Championship.

Previously, the international event was scheduled to be held in Nha Trang, however, because of bad weather forecast for the city, it was moved to Hue, according to Phan Ngoc Tho, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thua Thien-Hue province.

Teams from Myanmar, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea and the hosts will compete at the Tu Do Stadium.

The Vietnamese team will include best players from November’s national event.

Last year, Japanese representative Yokohama lifted the trophy in Can Tho city.-VNA
