According to Nguyen Dang Thanh, Vice Chairman of Hue People’s Committee, this year’s festival with the theme “Bep Viet trong vuon Hue” (Vietnamese Kitchen in a Hue Garden) will introduce Hue food and ornamental gardening, which bear the traditional and cultural characteristics and style of the ancient royal capital.
It also aims to honour artisans, who conserve and develop Hue traditional crafts.
The festival will also feature the northern and southern foods together with ornamental plants from 20 localities across the country.
In addition, performances of Vietnamese traditional singings such as Cai Luong, Ca Tru, Ca Hue as well as arts displays, folk games will also be organised during the festival./.
