He received French Prime Minister Jean Marc Ayrault, who conveyed French people’s profound condolences to Cambodian people on the passing of the ex-King.
Hun Sen also received Vice President of the Philippines Jejomar C.Binay and Presidential Office Chief of the Republic of Korea Ha Kum-Loul .
The cremation for the ex-Cambodian King is to take place in the afternoon of February 4 following a funeral ceremony, which started on February 1.
The event, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, are attended by some regional leaders, including Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
Born on October 31, 1922, Sihanouk came to the throne for the first time in 1941, and the second time in 1993. In 2004, he abdicated in favor of his son, the current King Norodom Sihamoni.
He died of a heart attack in Beijing in October 2012, aged 89.-VNA
