The 17th Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Development Cooperation will take place in the central city of Hue on August 30-31.
The information was revealed by the provincial Department of Information and Communications at a press briefing in the city on August 20.
The event aims to set up cooperation among provinces, cities and economic regions in promoting ICT application and development serving socio-economic development.
It is also a forum for delegates to share their experience and cooperation opportunities among the localities in the field.
The conference’s agenda will focus on such familiar topics as the status quo and orientation of building ICT infrastructure, data communication to build e-governments; ensuring information security in state agencies, as well as the model of intelligent urban area.
During the event, there will also be a number of activities, including an exhibition of scientific and technological products, visits to units with effective models of IT application in production and management, and presenting computers to poor IT students in the province.-VNA
