Indochina Kajima, Mandarin Oriental ink agreement on luxury resort management in Phu Yen

Hanoi (VNA) – Indochina Kajima Development Co. Ltd. - a
joint venture between Indochina Capital and Kajima Corporation - and Hongkong-based Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group have signed an agreement on the management and operation of a luxury
resort in the south-central province of Phu Yen.
Construction of Mandarin Oriental, Bai Nom will begin in the second half
of 2023 and scheduled to be put into operation in the first half of 2026.
When completed, the resort will feature 72
villas and hotel rooms, including 25 residences at Mandarin Oriental, spread out across a 29-hectare site.
Peter Ryder, CEO of Indochina Capital and member of the
Board of Directors of Indochina Kajima, said Indochina Capital has an unparalleled track record in master
planning and developing Vietnam’s best luxury resorts, namely Four Seasons, The
Nam Hai, and Six Senses Con Dao.
Indochina Kajima will expand on this track record with Mandarin Oriental, Bai
Nom, which will aim to set a new benchmark in Vietnam in terms of design,
construction quality, operations, and sustainability, he said.
Ryder said the
resort will be a sparsely populated, low-rise development in a pristine
untouched natural setting, inserting modern Asian luxury design into the
natural landscape.
Keisuke Koshijima, Representative Director and Executive Vice President of Kajima Corporation, said that Phu Yen
has many favourable conditions for tourism development, adding that its remote
and pristine nature is advantageous compared to more developed tourism markets./.
