Indonesia maps out six targets to become developed nation
Indonesian Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani recently revealed six steps to turn Indonesia into a developed nation by 2045.

The six targets include improvements in infrastructure,
quality of human resources, technology, government administration, regional
spatial planning and economic and financial resources.
In terms of infrastructure, Indonesia needs to build proper
infrastructure starting from basic infrastructure such as sanitation, water
supply to those that create connectivity and support mobility and productivity.
Regarding human resources, the Indonesian government must develop its people and ensure that they get education, health
facilities and social protection, in order to create productive, healthy and
creative human resources for the nation.
The government must be able to guarantee the
procurement of technological innovations that play an important role in
responding to industrial challenges in the future.
Furthermore, the government needs to improve administrative service quality and business process efficiency.
Mulyani said the government must also maintain
spatial planning and manage financial economic resources in an accountable,
professional and reliable manner.
Lastly, the Indonesia government must be able to increase its economic and financial resources. A healthy State Revenue and Expenditure Budget is the key to the success of Indonesia's target of becoming a developed country in 2045.
Indonesia needs to maintain positive results that had been made in economic growth, unemployment rate, and poor people ratio before the pandemic broke out, said Mulyani./.
