With the election result, Megawati, who is daughter of Indonesia’s first President Soekarno and herself a former President of the country, will continue leading PDI-P until 2020.
In addition, the PDI-P National Congress affirmed its full support of the government of President Joko Widodo and adopted a plan of action for 2015-2020 with a focus on continued reform.-VNA
