Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi hosted a conference in Jakarta on January 22, highlighting the issue of boosting business cooperation in economic diplomacy.

The event saw the attendance of CEOs of several conglomerates and business associations from such key sectors as garment and textiles, food, and transport.

Minister Marsudi urged Indonesian enterprises to take part in spreading the government’s policies and programmes on economic development, which can help deepen the nation’s people-to-people diplomacy and prepare for the establishment of an ASEAN economic community this year.

Indonesia prioritises promoting their products overseas via different channels and facilitating the private sector’s access to new market.
