As many as 200 industrial executives received the title “Outstanding entrepreneurs” at a ceremony in Hanoi on May 5 for their renewal efforts and sound leadership.
It was part of a programme in celebration of the Thang Long-Hanoi millennium anniversary, which aims to present the honour for 1,000 industrial executives.
Truong Duc Ngai from the jury board said the title winners were those who operated in line with law, recorded high growth rates in revenues and proved to be creative in management.
This phase recognised efforts by executives of businesses which managed to take a firm foothold in both domestic and foreign markets such as Vietnam Paper Corporation CEO Vo Sy Dong and Director of the Tien Giang Food Company Nguyen Ngoc Nam .
Along with the “outstanding entrepreneurs” title, the programme will also honour 1,000 best products and 1,000 best businesses.
