Faced with the fact that people had to queue and waited for a long time to be recognized as an F0 (infected with the COVID-19 disease) in many wards in Hanoi, the Hanoi Department of Health has recently announced that F0 certification can be issued to anyone who does a rapid COVID-19 test under the direct or indirect supervision of medical staff.
Many medical stations in the city have issued F0 certification through online service, by using Zalo (a local social network) or other social networking sites.
At the Health Station of Hang Trong Ward (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi), local medical staff instructed people to record the whole self-testing process and then send their video clips through Zalo to confirm the results.
If the requirements are met, people will be issued a scan code to confirm that they are F0 cases. This process is highly appreciated by health workers and the public because of its convenience and safety for people don't need to be in direct contact with each other.
The online issuance of F0 certificates by local authorities in the city has initially shown its effectiveness and contributes to reducing the load on the ward and commune health system. This help avoids the risk of spreading the disease if an F0 has to go directly to the local medical station to get the certification./.
