Khanh Hoa (VNA) – Rescue ship SAR 27-01 of the region IV Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Centre brought a Chinese sailor who injured in an occupational accident at sea to Nha Trang city of the central province of Khanh Hoa for treatment on July 12.

Earlier on the afternoon of July 11, the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) received a request for help from China’s Chang Hang Cheng Gong ship as its sailor, Cui Jisheng, went unconscious due to bleeding from a sharp cut in an occupational accident.

The Chinese ship is moving off the waters of Khanh Hoa province while en route to Japan from India.

The Vietnam MRCC then contacted the Chinese ship and guided its members to give first aid for the victim, and deployed the rescue ship SAR 27-01 to bring him to the mainland for prompt treatment.-VNA
