A programme introducing Swedish innovations and initiatives is taking place in Ho Chi Minh City from November 10 to 30.
Co-organised by the embassy, the Swedish Institute and the municipal People’s Committee, the “Innovative Sweden” programme is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Sweden diplomatic ties.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam highlighted the special bilateral ties between Sweden and Vietnam.
Director of Swedish Institute Annika Rembe said that through the programme, Sweden wants to share experiences in the field with Vietnam to nurture a culture of creativity and facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas between the two nations.
According to Le Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, the event gives the locals a valuable opportunity to learn about Sweden ’s technological solutions and innovations.
The programme includes an exhibition and 18 other events with the participation of four Swedish business delegations, which will last until November 30.-VNA
