The exhibition, named Vietbuild Hanoi 2011, offers a chance for domestic and foreign enterprises to seek partnerships, exchange management experiences and transfer technologies and advanced solutions in the construction industry, the Deputy PM said.
This year’s expo has attracted nearly 500 businesses from 18 countries and territories, a rise of 21 percent as compared to the last event, according to Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tran Nam.
The increase in the number of exhibitors reflects the strong development of Vietnam’s construction industry, Nam said.
During the five-day exhibition, there will be a number of symposiums on new products and environmentally-friendly technologies. The organisers will also present the “Vtopbuild” award and gold medals to high-quality construction products./.
Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai cut the ribbon to kick off the international exhibition on construction, construction materials, real estate and interior decoration in Hanoi on March 23.
