Int’l reporters interested in Vietnamese culture

Lee Jeong-ho from Hong Kong-based South China Morning Post said he appreciates infrastructure facilities and equipment serving reporters in the International Media Centre (IMC).
He said he is impressed with the organisation of the event of Vietnam and Hanoi in particular, saying that the IMC was equipped with modern devices and high-speed internet, while food served in the centre is very delicious.
Sharing his colleague’s view, Bhavan Jaipragas from South China Morning Post in the Asian region said Vietnam has done well the organisation of the summit.
He said he plans to return to Hanoi to learn more about its culture and people.
While showing his impression on Vietnam’s preparation for and organisation of the summit, Alberto Salazar, a correspondent from Latina Prensa news agency of Cuba, said Vietnam’s units have provided full equipment and favourable conditions for international reporters to work in the IMC, from security and safety to other logistics work.
For those who come to Vietnam for the first time, the cuisine area in the IMC offers them a chance to enjoy delicious and diverse dishes of Vietnam.
After the two days of working at the centre, Najib Elkhash from France 24 TV expressed his satisfaction with Vietnam's careful and professional preparation in the IMC.
He said that the DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnam is a great opportunity for Vietnam to promote tourism potential, adding that Vietnam should take advantage of the event to attract more investment in the country.
Vietnam is a safe and friendly destination, with hospitable, hardworking and creative people and dynamic economic development, he said.
The reporter added that he would stay in Hanoi for one more day to produce a short report on the city’s beauty.-VNA
