The 105th anniversary of International Women’s Day was celebrated at the Consulate-General of Vietnam headquarters in Macau (China) on March 8.

The event was attended by Vietnamese women and nationals working in Macau.

At the event, Vietnamese Consul-General Hoang Chi Trung highlighted the important role of Vietnamese women residing in Macau, including their significant contributions to preserving and developing the traditions of the nation, their constant efforts to render services to the nation, and fulfilling their family duties, he said.

Also on the occasion, the Consul-General granted certificates from the Chairman of the State Committee on Overseas Vietnamese Affairs to Vietnamese nationals with outstanding contributions to the country.-VNA
