Italy’s Pediatric Hospital Bambino Gesu will join hand with the National Hospital of Pediatrics in a charity project providing treatment for children suffering from complicated urological diseases.
The project “Pediatrics Urology and Kidney Transplant”, which was launched in Hanoi on April 24, aims to provide medical check-up and treatment for 2,000 children aged 0-18 months.
The project is part of a charitable programme sponsored and funded by the Piaggio Vietnam Company.
In the framework of the project, the Italian hospital will also share professional experiences with the Vietnamese side in treating pediatric diseases.
Vietnam is the first country where the charitable programme is carried out.-VNA
