Hanoi on December 6 to mark its 20 th founding anniversary.
Addressing the event, President of the Vietnam-Italy Friendship Association Nguyen Van Nam reviewed the important contributions of the centre to bringing the Italian culture and language to Vietnamese young generations.
Despite numerous difficulties in facility and personnel, DANTE has developed ceaselessly and become the only reliable address in Hanoi for Vietnamese youths and those who love the Italian culture and language, he added.
In the coming time, the centre will focus on improving the quality of Italian language training, increasing cultural exchange activities and encouraging exchanges between the two countries’ universities and research centres.
It will also make greater efforts to further develop the cooperation and strategic partnership between Vietnam and Italy. -VNA
