The Japanese Government will provide a total non-refundable aid of over 207,000 USD to build two primary schools in the northern provinces of Ninh Binh and Thai Nguyen.
Under contracts signed in Hanoi on November 1, the People’s Committee of Lai Thanh commune, Kim Son district, Ninh Binh province, will receive 106,201 USD to build a two-storey primary school with eight classrooms.
The remaining 101,000 USD will be granted to the People’s Committee of Cuc Duong commune, Vo Nhai district, Thai Nguyen province, to construct a primary school with eight classrooms.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Japanese Chargé d' Affaires Suzuki expressed a wish that projects aided by the Japanese Government will help improve the teaching and learning environment in disadvantaged areas of Ninh Binh and Thai Nguyen provinces.
The aid also represents the friendship and solidarity between the Japanese and Vietnamese people, he said./.
