Japan funds new primary schools

The Japanese Government signed a contract providing non-refundable aid to build two primary schools at a total cost of over 242,000 USD.

Subsequently, two new primary schools will be built in Thang Binh commune, Nong Cong d istrict, Thanh Hoa p rovince and in Yen Tho commune, Dong Trieu district, Quang Ninh province, to replace the existing ones which are dilapidated and over-crowded.

At the signing ceremony, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam, Yasuaki Tanizaki, expressed his belief that the new schools will improve the children’s learning environment, contribute to the local socio-economic development, and strengthen the friendship between the two countries.-VNA
