Japan helps Bac Giang build primary school

The Japanese government will provide 95,500 USD in non-refundable aid to build a primary school in the northern province of Bac Giang’s Hiep Hoa district.
The Japanese government will provide 95,500 USD in non-refundable aid tobuild a primary school in the northern province of Bac Giang’s HiepHoa district.

A contract to this effect was signed in Hanoi on July 27.

Under the project, eight classrooms will be built to replace the old ones which were built in 1978.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Japanese Ambassador to VietnamMitsuo Sakaba said that this project will improve primary education inthe locality and also help strengthen friendship and mutualunderstanding between the two countries./.

Over 1.2 million students begin national high school graduation exam

Under the current examination format, candidates are required to complete the mandatory Literature and Mathematics tests, along with a combined test comprising two subjects selected from a range of options, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Foreign Languages, History, Geography, Technology-Industry, Technology-Agriculture, and Economics-Law. Students may also choose to take a foreign language different from the one studied at school.

Rare green sea turtle released back into the wild in Quang Tri

The green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas), locally known as vich, is a rare and protected species under Vietnamese law.
