Japan secretary of state Motegi Toshimitsu officially visits Vietnam

Minister Motegi Toshimitsu revealed that he had chosen Vietnam as the first country to visit this year. Because this year Vietnam is the President of ASEAN as well as Non-permanent member of United Nations Security Council.

On the morning of January 6th, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc has met Japan Secretary of State Motegi Toshimitsu. The visit to Vietnam of Mr. Motegi Toshimitsu lasted from 5th to 7th of January.

The PM confirmed that the Minister's visit had important meanings during this time. The PM declared that Japan had always been Vietnam’s most important strategies partner, especially in economic, trade, and investment sectors.
