Japanese economic and financial experts provided their Vietnamese peers with practical experiences they had drawn from handling long-term economic development issues at a seminar in Hanoi on Dec.1.

The seminar, which aimed to seek ways to help Vietnam develop further, was co-organised by the State Bank of Vietnam in partnership with the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The Japanese experts also shared with Vietnamese colleagues lessons they have learned regarding the merger of businesses in order to achieve sustainable development.

Japan is among those key international partners that have lent Vietnam a helping hand to promote economic development since the beginning of the process, affirmed Vice Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Dong Tien.

It has also made considerable contributions to the Vietnamese banking system’s fast and strong growth since it first entered Vietnam, Tien underscored./.
