Teruhiko Mashiko, a parliamentarian from the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Federation and former Deputy Minister for Economy, Trade and Industry in Japan, was speaking at a reception given by Vu Xuan Hong, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) in Hanoi on October 11.
Hong expressed his thanks to the Japanese parliamentary delegation for visiting Vietnam on the 1,000 th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
He stated that the VUFO will continue to promote the friendly relationship between the two peoples to match Vietnam and Japan’s strategic partnership./.
