A business delegation from Japan’s Kansai region, home to big Japanese names, like Sanyo, Sharp, Panasonic and Hitachi, is exploring investment opportunities in the northern province of Ha Nam.
At a working session with the provincial authorities on September 6, the delegation head, Toyokazu Machihara, who is an official from Osaka prefecture, the centre of the Kansai region, said he highly values the investment attraction policy of Ha Nam.
He said that he and his entourage were particularly impressed with the commitments Ha Nam pledges to foreign investors, such as sufficient electricity and human resources, no strikes, security, streamlined administrative procedures, and building leisure and medical centres tailored for Japanese tastes.
The same day, Kansai businesspeople visited the Dong Van II industrial zone and met some Japanese businesses operating there.
