Japanese Emperor’s birth anniversary celebrated

Japan’s Ambassador to Vietnam Hiroshi Fukada hosted a reception on December 10 to salute the 80th birth anniversary of the Emperor, which is also his country’s National Day (December 23).

Addressingthe event, Ambassador Hiroshi Fukada showed his delight with greatstrides in the two countries’ relations, emphasing the organisation ofvarious events to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties in2013.

The solid development of Vietnam-Japan relations was builtup on the foundation of friendship and mutual trust, the diplomat said,underscoring the need to continue fostering the ties in the future.

On behalf of the Vietnamese Government, Deputy Prime Minister NguyenXuan Phuc noted that Vietnam and Japan have increasingly become eachother’s important strategic partner, evidenced by robust developmentsrecorded in all fields and reinforced political trust.

He saidhe believes that the two countries’ strategic partnership will continuegrowing in a broad and sustainable manner for the sake of the peoplesand peace, stability, prosperity, cooperation and development in theregion and the world.-VNA

16th NA reviews amendments to four tax-related laws on April 21
