Japanese firm Zeon to build plant

The management board of the Hai Phong Economic Zone has granted an investment certificate to Japanese-invested Zeon Manufacturing Ltd Vietnam Company to build a facility in the VSIP Hai Phong Township and Industrial Park Complex.

This is the second foreigndirect investment project that has been granted an investmentcertificate in Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) Hai Phong. Ithas a total registered capital of 25 million USD and a charter capitalof 13.75 million USD.


The company will begin constructingthe plant in April and complete it by the end of this year. It willhave a trial production period from January to March 2013 and willofficially begin production in April 2013.


The factorywill produce a wide range of metal products and equipment includingmedical instruments, telecom products and electronic items.-VNA
