A multinational anti-terrorism exercise wrapped up in Indonesia on September 14, attracting the participation of 872 elite soldiers from ASEAN countries and their dialogue partners.

As part of the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting Plus (ADMM+), the five-day exercise was staged on a simulation of multiple bomb attacks on an oil tanker and a crowded event.

It also focused on technical and tactical capabilities and the management of information and technology in anti-terrorism activities.

Established in 2010, the ADMM+ groups 10 ASEAN states as well as Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, the Republic of Korea and the US.-VNA
