The Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang will focus on scrub typhuspatients and record age, gender, occupation, geographical region, whattime of year the disease was contracted and the clinical and biologicalcharacteristics of carriers.
Based on their results, theinstitute will use RT-PCR ELISA technology to identify the causes andintroduce preventive measures and treatment in the province.
