The Khmer traditional music and dance festival is taking place in Soc Trang province. This is the first time Soc Trang has held the event.
The Khmer traditional music and dance festival is taking place in Soc Trang province. This is the first time Soc Trang has held the event which is expected to help the Khmer people promote their cultural identity.
The festival is an activity to celebrate the 27th anniversary of the re-establishment of Soc Trang province and the traditional Chol Tham Thmay festival of the Khmer ethnic people.
The festival has received a great response from over 300 amateur artists from cities and provinces in the southern region such as Tra Vinh, Kien Giang and Soc Trang.-VNA
