Lam Dong earmarks 100 billion VND for building schools

The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has approved a plan to build an additional 10 schools at different levels with a total cost of nearly 100 billion VND (4.3 million USD).

Lam Dong (VNA) – The Central Highlands province ofLam Dong has approved a plan to build an additional 10 schools at differentlevels with a total cost of nearly 100 billion VND (4.3 million USD).

The schools include one kindergarten, seven primary schools,one primary-secondary school and one secondary school. The schools will be providedwith full equipment.

The schools aim to improve the teaching and studying qualityof the province towards national standards.

The construction cost will be sourced from the provincialbudget.

The People’s Committee of Lam Dong has asked the contractorsto ensure the progress of the construction so that the schools can be put intooperation in 2021.-VNA

Hanoi offers free parking, public transport during Lunar New Year

During Tet, Hanoi offers free parking at selected schools and locations surrounding central heritage sites. In addition, single-journey fares are waived on the Cat Linh–Ha Dong and Nhon–Hanoi Station metro lines, while subsidised public bus services across the city are operating free of charge during the holiday period.
